Our Mission: Panhellenic Council is the voice of all six PHC chapters at Old Dominion. We will be an equal and united body, and serve as both a resource for and a representation of all chapters. We will improve unity between all chapters and councils, recruit and reach beyond the Fraternity and Sorority Life community, and serve as a model of the ideal Sorority woman, as outlined by our creed.

Sister of the Month: Kaitlin Zirnheld

Scholar of the Month: Elisabeth Brumfield

"Scholar of the Month is an award given to a woman each month who displays the Panhellenic quality of scholarship. Scholarship is a pillar of Greek life at Old Dominion University and academia is held in the highest regard by every Panhellenic woman. "

Liz served as a Recruitment Counselor this fall and was an amazing mentor to her color group and other PNMs. She always strives to make friends throughout the Greek Community and you can always expect to see her sporting a positive attitude and smile. She has a great attitude toward Greek life and has a very Panhellenic mindset. Liz is very down to earth and always brightens peoples’ day. She genuinely likes to see our Greek community succeed.


New Member of the Week: Miles Crosby

Miles Crosby was nominates because she is always promoting her chapter and is very involved as a new member. She is very generous, always willing to help others and is all around a great person to get to know.

Letter from the Panhellenic President

On behalf of the Panhellenic Council I would first like to welcome you to Old Dominion University and thank you for your interest in Greek Life! At ODU we have 6 Panhellenic chapters and are the largest women’s organization on campus. The Fraternity and Sorority Life at Old Dominion share the four pillars of Scholarship, Friendship, Leadership and Service. As a member of Greek Life on campus you will encounter numerous opportunities for campus and community service, as well as the chance to develop your leadership skills and best of all you will be able to establish lifelong bonds of sisterhood.

This year Fall Formal Recruitment will be held from August 28th- September 1st! Recruitment this year There will be Sorority Showcases and Sorority Recruitment 101 informational sessions before FFR.
